How this works & sources
Uses an amortising loan with equal monthly repayments and a constant annual rate. The 2.6% starting value is editable; HDB's concessionary rate is pegged to the CPF Ordinary Account rate and can change. Loan tenure and amount remain subject to your lender's assessment.
At 0% interest, the principal is divided equally across the repayment months. A longer period can lower monthly payments while increasing total interest.
